We encourage you to keep writing, faxing, phoning and emailing the Mayor and members of City Council. To better demonstrate how we contribute to the the economy of Charleston we are requesting that everyone who works inside the city limits to refrain from shopping within the city limits until such time as this tax is repealed. While it is not our intention to decimate the city economy, it is our objective to show The powers that be that they are out of touch with the average Charlestonian.
